Well, this story is awful.
For a professional computer repair outfit, this makes for both inspiring (in that we here at Resolve IT can be proud our core values are at the other end of the spectrum to these guys) and depressing (how they could do what they did is beyond belief) reading. These guys are not only out to rip people off, but to invade their privacy where possible - they should hang their heads in shame and close the business down if they have any self-respect at all. They give the whole sector a bad name and put up massive hurdles to customer confidence and trust.
Rest assured, here at Resolve IT we will not access the content of any of your files in the course of any repair or data recovery. None. Nothing. A strict confidentiality policy and CRB checked repair engineers are our difference.
